Explain bills now ive paid off old phone

Hi, i swapped my iphone 14 for an iphone 15 and kept the 14. I sold the 14 and then paid the money off my mobile account. How does this affect my furure bills as it looks like I'm in credt at the monent but then future bills look like I'm paying for both phones still. 

Any help or advice? I've tried the chat facility but that was no use and sent me here.

Your post is a bit confusing as you have said you are both in credit for it and you believe you are still paying for it, so when did you complete this swap was it recently as it might take a little while for your bills to work out so do future bills show that you will be paying for it ?

Did you go into your account & choose to pay off the remaining balance for the phone or just make a payment towards your bill?
If the latter the most likely you'll continue paying monthly for the phone but due to the credit balance the money will be deducted from this.
