I am unable to activate my esim as it says it is not ready yet, how long will this take or is there a way it can be activated

Give up - the process doesn't work and Sky do not know how to fix it.

I've been without ability to make or receive calls for more than two weeks and Sky do not care - despite being a customer for 22 years.
