Gooling that number doesn't show positive results so who are you trying to text via it ?

Re: Error 38 when trying to send text msg.

Short answer, my broadband provider Virgin offered me a decent deal on tv and I accepted, only when I printed off the contract summary did I see that it included an O2 sim and contract which I soon cancelled. Now I get msgs from O2 about their phone help and what I would rate it as, I tried to send 0 as a response because they are trying to charge me for a service I don't have and that's when I get the error 38 msg.

I don't know about error 38 but if you want to provide feedback you might want to do it via O2s own forum.

Re: Error 38 when trying to send text msg.

@caesarome I am interested to find out about Error 38, it's not the first time it's come up. I'm not that bothered about giving feedback anyway except for the fact I don't like being misled over the phone. As for using the O2 forum that would involve setting up some sort of sign-in account which I don't want.

Thanks for your reply.
