I was wondering the rules about ending a phone contract after the cooling off period, I want to end the phone contract I'm paying for my ex it's quite new but out of the cooling off period can I sell it to pay off the contract early? And are there any rules about selling ?

Hi @963450- you can sell the phone at anytime you like, it's yours. This was confirmed by sky some years back. As long as the payments keep up or the phone is paid off it doesn't matter.

If you are out of the cooling off period then the only way to end the contract is to pay it off completely as it is unlikely that Sky will let you cancel without any charges. I don't think there is anything from stopping you from selling it if you can raise what you owe against it.
