Downgrade mobile data out of minimum term since 2022

Hello,

 

I have been out of any minimum term since 2022. Today, I downgraded my mobile data plan. I received emails confirming the change, and none of them mention any new minimum term being activated due to this downgrade.

 

I want to confirm that this has not changed, as I have absolutely no interest in entering into any kind of minimum term with sky again at least untill I feel like it.

 

Please note: if any minimum term has been activated as part of this change, I will cancel the downgrade under the 14-day cooling-off period and will start looking for a new provider.

Hi @Cfilipa  changing your data plan via your account doesn't normally trigger a new 12 month term, if you take an offer online or by calling sky then that would trigger a 12 month extension.

Usually a sim contract is 12 month contract but not sure if that also applies if you downgrade so if nobody else here knows you could check this by calling Sky on 150.
