Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreAll you appear to have done so far is to activate the Sky sim. You now need to get a pac code from your previous network provider and give it to Sky and they should then transfer your number to the Sky sim on the next working day. If you give Sky the pac code today it might nit transfer over until Tuesday.

Not entirely sure what I did to be honest.
Got the new sim during the week and activated it today.
Received a message to let me know the new number. Sky are currently closed until Monday so can't even give them a call.
Not entirely sure if I clicked keep my number or get a new number. The text from sky is making me think it was the latter

No. Don't even know you needed it.
Presumed once you sign up to another provider it was all done in the background

Nope - you have to action it...
You request a PAC from your previous supplier and give it to your new provider.
If the account on your old account is closed then you may not be able to obtain one.
