Do Sky have plans to drop roaming charges?

Almost every other provider don't charge for data roaming these days. Surely it's time Sky caught up?

Hi @KJ19  not that they have reported.

edit. Some other networks do charge, they also restrict the data amount you can use and moving forward I think others are more likely to charge than sky are to get rid of their charges.

I don't know if they still do but while O2 didn't charge butas @63johnw mentioned above they restrict or used to how much data you can use.

Most networks have brought back roaming charges since Brexit, out of the four major networks Vodafone, Three and EE all charge, O2 is the only one that doesn't. Some of the smaller virtual networks like Smarty and GiffGaff still include roaming but with limits (eg. 12GB on Smarty, 5GB on GiffGaff),

At the end of the day you choose a provider that's best suited to your requirements.  If roaming is something you use regularly then compare other providers to see if there's a better option.

I doubt Sky are going to implement any such changes but as noted other providers might...
