Di Cant link my mobile account to my Sky iD

I am trying to link my new Sky mobile account with my existing Sky ID account

Keep getting a error message saying..."The details entered do not match those we have on record. Please provide us with the details used at time of purchase."

 

Please help... thanks

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you sometime tomorrow morning regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page.


This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears:

When the chat bubble does appear tomorrow you will have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed.
This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.

Due to the Christmas holidays you will need to call Sky about this today @Sally31 

 

150 is the number to use from your mobile.

For me this was all because i chose the option to pay by card and not direct debit.

I was not allowed to link the mobile account to my existing sky id, account so had to set up a new account which then had same problem because the number it asks for is card paying direct debit.

 

Eventually i did the direct debit just because it all became so annoying.

Now i have two seperate sky id and had to do the direct debit option becuase the other option does not really exist with sky id.  😕

No idea why its an option but there we go ..Its all to get you to have a direct debit on your accouint.

Could have been sorted in 5 mins on phone but but took hours by text for me.
