Device settings - number hasn’t changed over when switching

I changed over from EE and used the eSIM option whilst waiting for my number to transfer. Everything transferred over a couple of days later. I have done the manual phone number update as per the help guides as sometimes this needs to be done manually...but on the device settings, the number hasn't changed. My husbands has, but mine hasn't. People can still call and text me on my old number on my phone. I am not sure why it hasn't changed and the impact of this as some

people are seeing a different number?!

any help is appreciated.

I ma having the same issue. I have tried changing the number manually, as suggested, about 10 times and it is still showing as the number that came with the sim. My account, on line, shows my correct number but not on the phone. And it's really, really annoying
