Delivery of new handset

Do I need to be in for delivery or if I need to go out can I leave my id with my 17yr olds daughter who also has id, to take in the parcel?

That will depend on the DPD courier. They sometimes allow it, and they sometimes take a photo of handing it over. Also depends on whether they notice your daughter is only 17. You should be given a one hour time slot which will help.
