I had a tablet on contract which has come to an end but the tablet is broken and can nolonger be charged so I put the sim from it in an older mobile and still use it but I was wondering if I would be able to send back the tablet as its of no use to me anymore

If you have finished paying off the contract on the tablet then you now own it so it can not be sent back to Sky but other than that you are free to do with as you see fit.
