I have exactly the same problem connecting to Internet with sky sim in a TP Link MR200 router.

What is the TP mini App mentioned above?

Hi just wondering if I take my SIM card from my phone and put in tpMiFi and put the instructions in to connect to internet will I be able to put back in my phone or am I best getting another sky sim thank you

There is nothing from stoping you from doing this although it will mean you have no sim in your phone so you will be unable to use it. If you do take out another sim you will be paying for two as you can't have two with the same number.

I've done this. If you are still struggling with speeds then tray switching the wireless band in the advanced internet setting under the network tab. Looks like sky uses band 1, 8 and 20.
