Cloned phone number

My daughter had a phone call from someone who said they had a missed call from her but there is no record on her phone to say she had rung them.

I also checked the itemised bill and nothing on there.

Has her number been cloned

The number has been spoofed and isn't unusual. The instigator will eventually move on to another.

Unlikely.

 

It's quite common for scammers to spoof random numbers.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
