Some years ago I sorted a SIM only plan for my son (when he was still a teenager) which I am paying for via my Sky bill. He is now an adult and I want to switch the contract into his name and for him to make payment (firstly because he is earning and is able to pay for it himself and secondly because having such items in his own name assists with building credit scoring etc). Is there any way that this is possible, or am I going to need to set up a new Sky account for him and port the number over to him? Thank you,

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHi @philam2-Mobile2 you can't transfer an account so you will need to set up his own. You can't port from one sky sim to another so the only way to do it is to create his account and order his sim. That will come with a new number. You then need to get a PAC from sky for the old number and transfer to a different network on PAYG then port back onto the new sim.

Thank you so much - figured this might be the case! I'll just get him to sign up for a SIM only plan with another provider and close this one down, thank you!
