Cant transfer my number to a new phone

I have just purchased a new iPhone 11 from Sky which won't transfer my number from my old iPhone 8 to the new phone

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

Move the SIM from old phone to new phone and do not activate any new SIM.  (Presuming you are currently with Sky mobile)

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
