Cannot sign into Apple account but looks like it is…

Please help! Since getting my new phone it has been really glitchy with not automatically logging onto wifi and using up all my data and safari not loading up. I reset network settings as advised on the website and then logged back in. Since then I cannot authorise apps for my kids, my iMessage has stopped working and it says I'm not logged in to my Apple account although it appears in settings I am..am able to use Apple Pay and WiFi but text messages aren't working either..it's all a bit of a mess so any advice great thank you!
