Cancellation of apple imobile phone contract

I want to cancel my contract (the contract of an i phone, apple.) During the 14 days cooling off period! I cannot find anywhere help how to cancel this in writing with evidence plus afterwards receiving a confirmation of that evidence if cancellation?

Hi @Amhukvv  you need to call sky on 150 to arrange the return and cancel. That's the only way it can be done.

Thanks! I already found the email address for cancellation and cancelled this way. The iPhone never reached my home. Therefore I should not wait for return.

Re: Cancellation of apple imobile phone contract

Hi, I didn't even order that phone. Scam people did. As the fraud team doesn't help me and doesn't remove that from my account, I deal with it as if I really ordered the phone. I then still have s tight of 14 days cooling off period !!! They send the phone against my will, then asked dpd to return phone ho them. What is happening now with that parcel: I don't care !!!! I will hand over all evidences to a solicitor. I took screenshots from now on I font follow the parcel or tracking. I have done all I could, now they have to remove the phone from my account immedistrly. They will hear from my solicitor next.

I will NOT continue to follow the dpd tracking as that is NOT my problem. I don't have anything to do with it !!!! I want the phone removed from my account IMMEDEATELY .

@Amhukvv  In case you're not aware you're not speaking to Sky via the community, we are all customers here, Sky won't see your post, even if they did they have no way of knowing who you are from a login.

It would have helped if you mentioned this in your OP...

Remember you are talking to other customers here and not Sky.

Using the cooling off period here doesn't help you.  (As the device needs to be returned to Sky)

Without knowing exactly what happened we can't comment much more.  The usual scam involves the user divulging their account details and the device is ordered.  Contact is made again to return the device to the scammers.  End position is they have the phone and you are paying for it.

How liable you are will depend on the exact circumstances.

Okay I see.... it is really annoying everything. Apart of that I am a happy broadband customer. But I experience fraud with an apple mobile (I would've buy an apple phone, I generally use cheap android).

Re: Cancellation of apple imobile phone contract

Thankfully that's not the case, as I contacted fraud team BEFORE it was delivered and the original Sky said they requested the return. So now whatever happens to the parcel, even if the scammed receive the parcel NOW, Sky can't make me pay, because I contacted their fraud team on the same day and changed password the same day of order.

Re: Cancellation of apple imobile phone contract

The scammers didn't contact me to ask me to return it to a certain address, because I didn't reply to their calls at this point.

They only ordered the phone and they could not reach me on the telephone afterwards, when they tried.

Ok, seems like you've stopped the fraud.  (I presume you've changed your passwords?)

It may take Sky a little time to process and cancel it.  But as noted, we can't help here - keep in contact with Sky.
