Can you use Sky mobile in Turkey?

My daughter is going on holiday to Turkey tomorrow. Will she be able to use her mobile? Are their extra charges? Do I need to add anything to her contract?

She can use it as per this at a cost of £2 per day:

There is now a 25GB data limit on the account that runs across the billing period.

Calls to UK landlines and mobiles are included but calls to local numbers in Turkey will see her charged at international rates.

For Turkey it should cost you/her £2 for each 24 hours use of her home allowance. She needs to ensure roaming and mobile data are turned on in her phone settings and it will kick in when she sends a text, makes a call or uses a small amount of data. Set any spend cap to cover the total number of days she is there. Remember that calls to local numbers are charged extra at international rates and there is now a limit on data use of 25GB per billing period, after which Sky can charge her an extra £2.50 per GB or even suspend her useage due to overuse.

Perhaps also be aware that location matters: Turkey has land borders with multiple countries to the east and south where £2 roaming doesn't apply, and inadvertently connecting to a mast in one of those could be extremely expensive (plus several of them probably aren't places to be waving a cameraphone around anyway ;  )

This isn't an issue within most of Turkey or on the borders to the west of the Bosporus/Bosphorus where the adjacent nations are in the EU.  £2 roaming also applies on both sides of the line in 'Northern Cyprus' despite the neighbours still technically being at war.
