I am looking for a sim only contract but do not already have a Sky account - I cannot find anywhere any information to suggest this is the case but when you go to checkout as a guest it asks for your Sky ID password which obviously I don't have. Am I to assume that you can only get Sky mobile if you already have a Sky TV/Broadband package?

You can be a Sky mobile customer if you are not a Sky TV or Broadband customer so you need to sign up as a new customer when placing the order.
