Can’t send text message in order to receive PAC or STAC number

As my previous Sim has run out I can no longer send out texts or calls, making it impossible for me to receive my PAC number, which I need in order to send out texts and calls.

Hi @Ac41  if your previous sim is no longer active then you will have lost that number. What are you trying to do ?

What does 'run out' mean?

Contract has been cancelled, original sim is void and defunct essentially but I can still receive calls and texts. Just can't perform them

I'd still need my STAC number then, however I can't send a text message to that number either

If the old sim is cancelled you can no longer get get a PAC or STAC @Ac41

Look here @Ac41  you don't need a PAC or STAC to activate a sim. They are used if transferring a number from a different network or closing an account. The new sim will have a new number.

this is incorrect, go through the process yourself. When you press activate new sim it still requires the PAC or STAC number. there is no alternative route

You do not need a PAC or STAC to activate a sim if you are not transferring a number @Ac41  if it's asking for one then you need to find a way to call sky to get them to do it for you.
