I hope someone can help!
I recently found that my mobile, a Samsung S23 Ultra running Android 14, cannot connect to landlines. When called, a system message intervenes and says "Sorry, you're not allowed to call this number. Please check your settings online." I cannot find any settings which affect this when I log in to the Sky account. We have four SIMs on the account, and this is the only one affected. It seems to affect all landlines. I can call mobiles, and mobiles can call me. Landlines can call my phone, but I cannot call them.
I re-downloaded network settings and re-installed them, and got a new SIM, activated it, and the problem is still there.
Can anyone help?

I am having the exact same issue and I can't call sky as it won't let me call any numbers except mobiles.
All other sims on my account are fine it's just mine.
When I did manage to call sky off a friends phone they couldn't work out why and sent me a replacement sim. This has not resolved anything and I cannot use my phone to contact my GP or my childrens schools it extremely inconvenient and worrying. Please someone shed some light on this

Iv got the same issue n I also can't call sky. I can call mobiles but no landlines. Iv got a Samsung android.

It's ridiculous, they mentioned being hacked then tried to blame my phone saying its broken. They haven't got a clue.
You can call 150 it worked thankfully from my phone.
It's a shambles, I'm actually thinking about moving network as they have been so unhelpful dealing with this situation.

Having same problem, can't call any landline number. I get a message saying "you are not allowed, to call this number, please check your settings online" All my SMS , DATA and and other services work fine. I can receive calls from landlines. and send and receive calls on mobile numbers. This has been like this for a few days. Its not my phone as I have swapped sims with my sons phone who is also on SKY mobile. He can use everything as normal with his sim in my phone and I still cant access landlines with my sim in his phone. Sky said they would get back to me within 72 hours, I'm worried I may have been hacked or had my sim cloned..

We've called Sky twice, they've sent a replacement sim which has made no difference and couldn't give an answer to why we can't call landlines.

Yea I've tried 2 replacement sims.
Been on the phone with sky to reset my settings and follow the same instructions over and over again and nothing.
It's awful. The worst part is they can't say why and expect me to trouble shoot everything. They then said maybe change your phone number. I was like what ??? If I am going to have to change number it won't be with sky as they can't guarantee this won't happen again.

Yes I have had the exact same issue. I called Sky on 150 from my mobile. Spoke to someone and they checked calling my mobile and my landline number so they are all receiving calls okay. Sky are sending me a new sim card and reimbursing me for call costs from my landline to Sky. I'd give them a call again and see if you have the same outcome. I still can't call landlines and just waiting for my new sim to arrive.

Same experience as you , but new sim has not resolved the issue , tried new sim in a different phone but issue remains. Advised up to 72 hours to sort, it's concerning that they don't seem to k ow what the issue is but yet a number of people experiencing it. 😔😔

I was on the phone with Sky yesterday. I could hardly understnd the gentleman as the noise behind him was loud and he talked so fast. The line was rubbish. Eventually he said they didnt know of the issue and suggested resetting things, i did that. Said to try my sim in another phone which i couldnt do and they are now sending an engineer out to check my phone line. !! I gave up after an hour or more and agreed to an engineer and a new sim. Im not holding out much hope for it to be fixed but im fed up of the issues iv had including the mobile issue now. I think ill cancel my sky if it isnt sorted out. I was continually told it was me, my phone n my internet settings. Fingers crossed something is fixed soon.

Yea I agree, there's to many ongoing network issues but this takes the cake.
The blame on customer is awful. I even took my phone to Samsung who confirmed it's a network issue.

Just like you said I have tried my new sim and still the same issue. Can't call any landlines. Have you had any luck in resolving this issue?

Still no joy. New sim and trying in a different phone, issue remains. Raised again without sky!

Yep having issue on sky app plus not allowed me to call sky via sky mobile was told server issues had to call sky from land-line
