Can I use my data plan in South Africa and Zimbabwe?

I'm travelling to South Africa on the 26th of February for a week and then to Zimbabwe for further four weeks and I'd like to know if I'd be able to use my phone and data

@Pgates56

You can for South Africa as it will cost you £2 per 24 use of your usual package.

For Zimbabwe whilist you can "Rest of the World" charges apply so it will work out really expensive as you are charged for what you actually use, so for data it is £4.32 per MB (not GB) and making a call to a UK Mobile or landline will cost you £4.68 per minute. You can see the charges in full here on page 13 of the latest tariff guide. To avoid such charges make sure mobile data and roaming is off or better still use a local sim whilist you are out there.
