Can I use more than £45 of data when I’m in Greece ?

Hi if I go on holiday for a month to Greece, can I use more than the £45 roaming spend cap ? Because if the hotels wifi goes down I will may need to use a more data than the default £45 roaming thing.  So can I use my phone for data for say £100 extra of roaming? Thanks people. Dumb blonde here and I can't find the answer

Yes, you can increase (or remove) your spend cap.

But only an issue if you're going for more than 22 days?

Thanks for the info 22 days is the limit ? I'm going for 28 days, I'm worried in case the hotels WiFi dies again, it did 2 years ago when I was with Vodafone but I was allowed to go over £££ my bill was £160 when in Greece for 2 weeks. But I'm going for 28 days next month.

No, the limit isn't 22 days - it just is if you have a £45 default spend cap...  (22 x £2 = £44)

You can raise (or remove) the limit as I noted.

Re: Can I use more than £45 of data when I’m in Greece ?

Thanks so much for the reply. I have unlimited data plan uk, so can I pay 28 days at £2 a day and use my unlimited data plan in those 28 days ? ( so my bill will have just £56 pounds extra on it ? ) silky me ....  ?  , as when I was with voda they only allow people to use 25 GB out of their unlimited data plan in Europe, that's why my voda bill was £150 on my 2022 Greek 3 week holiday

Yup, many other networks have roaming included but limit the data (and then is expensive over that limit).

There should be no more to pay than the £2 per 24 hours to access your UK plan.
