@SKY1992bf There is no need to swap SIM's as the iPhone 16 pro's are dual sim compatible.

@Ness5 You can have 2 numbers, one would have to be through an esim and the other a traditional nano sim.

@Ness5  The only way to do it is to have two separate sim plans on your account with different numbers and swap out the sims each time

you can't have two numbers on a single sim

Just to note that Sky only provide a personal contract for consumers - 'Business' use is not included.

Additional e sim on iPhone 16 pro

I have purchased and activated an additional e sim so I can have 2 numbers on my iPhone 16 pro (personal and business numbers). The phone is able to have dual sims as I have been advised. I'm now having problems installing the additional eSIM on my phone.

@Ness5 You mentioned an additional esim, if you currently have one installed on the phone theny you can't use another one, the dual sim function is one Nano SIM and one esim.

If the additional esim is in addition to a physical SIM then what problem are you encountering when trying to install it?

From the Apple specs I believe it's either one SIM and one eSIM - or two eSIM's:

From the Apple technical specs:

  • Dual SIM (nano-SIM and eSIM)
  • Dual eSIM support

But does caveat subject to your cellular provider's compatibility.

@PandJ2020 I know the tech specs say dual esim support(as does Apple stores and the forums), however from family and friends experience it doesn't work and they have had to go for one physical sim and one esim, and they are on various networks(none Sky though).
