I was told that it was because I had 5G enabled on my phone but I wasn't in a 5G area. I've turn 5G off and I haven't had a problem since TBH.

I've decided the solution is ... I'm going to leave Sky Moile, that should fix it.

I'm having the same problems as everyone on this thread. Me and my wife are struggling to make calls to anyone as they can't hear us and the calls end up dropping. We never had this problem when we were both with O2. My daughter has a Sky mobile sim but doesnt have this problem. Spoke to Sky earlier and they just got me to reset the network settings which seem to work for a few minutes then its back to crap service as usual. I'll ring them again when i get back from a short holiday this week to see if they intend doing anything. If not i'll be going back to O2.

I think it's the network as my calls do this and also cut the call off. I've had the phone checked by apple as Sky said the phone was faulty. The SIM card was new so it's not that either. I moved from EE to sky last year and have regretted doing so.

I bought two iPhone 14s in February, the one I bought for my daughter is great but mine is a disaster, the calls keeps going silent on my side but the recipient can still hear me, I have tried everything (numerous calls to technical support, resetting phone, new SIM cards, an appointment at the Apple Store and now eventually a new phone) but still having the same issue it's driving me nuts.

As the OP here I thought I would give a wee update as it still seems to be happening.
This continued to happen even after I got a new iphone.
2 weeks ago I went back to the provider I had before Sky. It hasn't happened yet. So for me, seems it definitely was the network.

I was the same, wife stayed with Sky. I moved to Virgin. No problems. Ridiculous situation that's had meant Sky has lost a customer.

Having the same issue here with iPhone 13 Pro. Phone is fine, just recently in the middle of a call. After 5mins sometimes 20mins it just cuts out and when they try and call me it just says phone number not active. Wait a few mins call back and then it works again for another 5-20mins then just hear. Beep beep beep and call failed. Any ideas?

Myself and my husband have been having this issue where our calls either cut off or one of the other of us can't hear the other and we have to end the call and try again, it happens several times when trying to have one phone call. We're both with Sky and has been happening for a few years now!!

@Gem5yg3ms Exactly this, we've raised it before, sent new sims out, restarted phone etc etc and they even wanted us to return handsets, it happens with every iPhone we've had with Sky and we've had afew. Ridiculous isn't it.

My friend who is on Sky and I have both had the same issue since we got Sky mobile. It has done it with both my phones. I am fed up and want to cancel my contract as it's not fit for purpose. Look at how many people have the same issue!
