Billing trying to come out after I paid

I’m emailing as my sky bill tried to come out a couple days ago but I didn’t have the money so I paid it last night but it’s still trying to come out of my bank. I was wondering if it’s something I did wrong if I paid it on the wrong thing on my account or did it go on the bill?

@Anonymous

We are all customers here so you are not actually talking to Sky.

You have made an error here by paying the bill manually because if your bill is usually paid by a direct debit when this fails Sky will try again to take it 10 days later which is what appears to be happening here as paying it yourself during those 10 days will not stop this process.

Your payment should now appear as a credit on your account so you have two options, you can either leave it and it should be used to pay next months bill or you can have it refunded, help of which can be arranged for here for you if you want.

@Anonymous  You're not emailing Sky, your posting in a customer helps customer forum

Making a manual payemnt won't stop a direct debit from being taken, if the 1st payment fails Sky normally tries again 10 days later, you don't need to be making any manual payments unless Sky specifically ask you to.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
