Back order iPhone 14 pro max

Hi was wondering how when exactly to expect delivery of my iPhone 14 pro max.. said a week when ordering but still says on back order. And from what Ive seen from other customers is that the delivery times given are abit vague? Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks
