Re: Apple iPhone User? Ported a Number to Sky?

I've tried the entering of my number and restarting it. I've done this using '0' and '+44'. The number here was/is correct so it know what my number should be. I've also restarted the device with and without the SIM in. I've also tried the SIM in an old iPhone and I still cannot receive calls.

Re: Apple iPhone User? Ported a Number to Sky?

I'm having the same issue. Just switched to Sky from Three, ported my number, received message and email from sky saying my number has transferred, but in Settings> Phone> My Number it's still showing the temporary number. I've tried entering the correct number number but when I press Save it just reverts to the temp number. I've tried rebooting the phone and the same problem. The correct number shows in Messages and FaceTime.

I am having the same issues. I've ported my number across from Vodafone. Received the final confirmation today but the temporary number is still showing in settings? I've followed the various steps in other posts, but still no luck?

Hi @Kate1708  have you tried settings, phone, my number and made sure the correct number is stored there, if not then update it then exit and reboot your phone.

Re: Apple iPhone User? Ported a Number to Sky?

The Sky Advisors were very helpful in the chat, walking me through various procedures to try and fix my issue. In the end they sent me out a new sim and that solved the issue straight away. Thanks to everyone that helped.

Thank you. It has been resolved now but I've not had the opportunity to talk to anyone to inform them, so thank you for shutting the case.

Re: Apple iPhone User? Ported a Number to Sky?

Please can I request a private chat again? It timed out before my issue was sorted.

temp number still showing in settings, I've put in my correct one and restarted my phone - still doesn't work. So iMessage doesn't work either
