Ordered an iPhone 17PM about 20 mins after pre-orders went live and have just had a message from Sky to say they expect it will be delivered by the 4th October. Not entirely sure what the point of pre-ordering is if I'm going to receive the phone 2 weeks after release 🙄

"Hi. We expect your iPhone 17 Pro Max 256GB Blue to be delivered by 4th October. We'll email you a day before it's delivered. Thanks for your patience."

no apology or explanation -  pre order a phone to get it in release and then get it 2 weeks later, was told on the phone it would be 26th so hopefully this date is just a precaution.

@Markagall I just got the same message. I'm beyond livid with Sky and will be cancelling my order and current contract.

Never had issues like this in 22 years with Vodafone.

I just got told by the same person that it will be out for delivery today and to expect it by the 4th of october. Guess my phone is being walked to my house from the north pole. About to cancel my order this is beyond unacceptable

Yep, same here - jut got the message saying expected by 4th October. I ordered the orange 17 pro max 512gb at about 1.02pm on 12th Sep. This is an absolute JOKE. Now my trade in price (Mazuma) on my old phone will run out before i can send it (ie once i have the new phone in hand).
