I ordered the 17 PM cosmic Orange 256gb last Friday around 3pm. I wasn't too fussed as to when I got delivery as wasn't desperate but here's my story of the process so far.
Wednesday this week I received an update on the app saying delivery would be Thursday 18th and then got DPD notifications. Thought it was strange it being a day early but went along with it.
yesterday morning the DPD tracking changed to return to conscriptor requested. So I contacted sky and they assured me that the device would be delivered and that this will just be an hold on delivery for release date.
read in this forum about orders being cancelled so I phoned sky again yesterday to enquire further but was assured my order definitely wasn't cancelled and that my order would 100% be delivered on release day , Friday.
dpd tracking changed last night to show it at my local depot so I thought great.
this morning I looked on tracking and it had progressed through a couple of local depots and then changed to my parcel is on its way back to sky!
Phoned sky first thing this morning and I was told it was a glitch in the system and that they had accidentally sent out empty packing boxes which were awaiting the phones to be put in them on release day - which is why the parcel had been requested to be returned!

Was reassured tha the device would be delivered Saturday and that it may even turn up still today and to keep an eye out for any DPD emails.
Transferred me to the delivery department to give me further updates to which the person on that line then said my order had been cancelled and they had no idea why.
so I've had to reorder the phone this morning. I asked if my case could be escalated as I had now gone to the bottom of the list having originally ordered on pre order day, and was assured a note would be placed on my file.
So no idea as to when I may get the device now! Im just gobsmacked at the absolute shambles of organisation within sky, the lies and contradicting stories! Absolutely useless!!
