Re: Apple iPhone 17 range and iPhone Air available for pre-order on Sky Mobile

Pre-ordered 17 pro max joined the queue at 12.55 and all ordered, agreement signed and email thanking me for order by 13.07.

At 13.14 i had my order confirmation email and its all there in my orders on my account.

I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but gone a bit out there and ordered the cosmic orange one. I normally go for the black/space grey but as they are not a option i went bold lol.

Hopefully Sky/Apple have learnt from previous years and got the amount of stock needed correct or at least Sky are quicker/better at updating customers of stock levels and delays

Re: Apple iPhone 17 range and iPhone Air available for pre-order on Sky Mobile

1st email was the agreement, 2nd was thankimg me for order and the last email was confirming my order and that it will be delivered soon.

in my orders it says "in progress" with a delivery date of "coming soon"

the earliest im expecting that to change is Thursday.

At least they haven't promised me delivery of the day its realised, like they did last year when i ordered the 16 pro max. That didn't turn up for about 5 weeks later

Re: iPhone 17 order cancelled

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

Usually a cancelled email is sent if the second deeper credit check has been failed, Sky should be able to tell if this is why your order has been cancelled but only you can view your credit record at the various sites that allow such access so they wouldn't be able to say why you failed it, if this is what has happened.

Re: Apple iPhone 17 range and iPhone Air available for pre-order on Sky Mobile

If you go to your messages on your sky account do you have 4 messages?

• Sky Mobile CCA, Pre-Contract Credit Information, Adequate

• Sky Mobile order confirmed

• Thank you for ordering with Sky Mobile

• Sky Mobile key

if you have the top 2 then it should have been accepted. If you haven't then it could just be delayed, especially as even at 8pm tonight there was still a queue to get on, and that was just me trying to see when i first got my lad a phone so i could work out how old he was (my daughter wants a phone number lol)

Re: Apple iPhone 17 range and iPhone Air available for pre-order on Sky Mobile

I'm new to ordering  a contract through Sky. Pre-ordered earlier today (around 4PM). Got the "Credit check successful" prompt while on the order page and was asked to agree/sign which I did. After following some more prompts, I was able to submit and then got 2 e-mails (Key information and thanks for ordering).

On My Orders, it shows both SIM Activation (In Progress) and Sky Mobile Device Delivery (In Progress - Coming Soon).

I was also able to see information in the Bills & Payments page (showed the phone and mentioned an agreement number).

After that, it went silent. At 5:46AM, I received another e-mail saying "Your Sky Mobile order confirmation".  If I go into My Messages, I see both the recent order confirmation and now "Sky Mobile CCA, Pre-Contract Credit Information, Adequete Explanation".  In the "Contracts" tab, it displays the terms and conditions. That tab was empty before.

Does this mean the order is confirmed and I've been accepted? Or are there more stages?
