Apple iPhone 17 range and iPhone Air available for pre-order on Sky Mobile

Preorders started 4 weeks ago and phone hasn't even been out for more than 3 weeks. So how have people been waiting 6 weeks?

Well to be fair I'd cancel and use another provider, lots of places can get one out to you faster. Personally I'm not too fussed how long delivery takes, but I can imagine other people might be keen to get their hands on it ASAP. That being said, this delivery problem always happens with the new iPhone. Hope yours comes soon 👍

I've ordered my IPhone 17 pro max silver on the 20th of September and today I noticed that it disappeared from my orders. Before that was appearing "coming soon" or "in progress" something like that, but now is gone!!!! Anyone with the same issue? What it means??

Every Friday there's usually updates on DPD messages. Let's see if any today. I ordered 26/09, I'm happy once have it before November

I ordered my iphone on the 18th... so nearly a month now of waiting and still says 'coming soon'. has anyone else thats ordered on the 18th recieved their iphone yet? I got the pro max standard GB in blue. 

Apple are also currently offering 0% finance over 2 years with trade in offers for the new iphone and they seem to have stock in their stores if anyone was gettind fed up of waiting.

Ordered September 16th blue 256. Still not received, called 2 weeks back told I would be a priority, called just now and told they will have a delivery in Tuesday from Apple so o will receive it this coming week and I'm now "double priority" whatever that means. We will see!

I ordered 5 weeks ago pre order and was told issue on there end they will redo order which had to pay another upfront payment and was awaiting refund! Then it's been 3 weeks again and now just told it's cancelled!! I was promised a call from a manager yesterday the 16th nothing! This caused two credit checks on my account now and I am just so angry with the support from sky. [Removed]

I placed my order on 10/10/25, and the current status shows "Coming Soon." I followed up for an update and received the following response:

"The item is currently on backorder due to high demand and supply constraints affecting the availability of certain components. As a result, stock levels are temporarily limited across multiple regions. We anticipate new inventory arriving within the next few weeks. Once replenished, orders will be processed and dispatched as quickly as possible."

I experienced a similar delay approximately two years ago, and the item was delivered within 2–3 weeks of placing the order. Hopefully, your order won’t take too long either.

by end of September it was still 1-2 weeks and people have been waiting for over 6 weeks on here so it's fair for them to rant 

in general I can see almost all are getting it almost exactly a month after ordering so that should be expectations for anyone wondering.

if you're talking about the iPhone 17 Pro Max in any flavour, it's been saying "More than 4 weeks" since it was available on their website. 

Maybe the regular 17/17 Pro have been saying 1-2 weeks before now.

Yeah, mine was the iPhone 17 Pro Max in Cosmic Orange that I placed recently. My friend ordered his around 3 weeks ago and received his yesterday, so it's varied. The majority of orders are 4 weeks+, and you still are paying for the phone before you have even gotten it as well.

Orderd 8/10/25 and starting to feel like it will come next month now hopefully back order get sorted and everyone get their phone within week
