Re: Apple iPhone 17 range and iPhone Air available for pre-order on Sky Mobile

Again it seems to be around the month mark for movement. I'm happy to wait until month mark. Anything longer and there will be issues

Still nothing on my 17PM CO 256GB

Ordered 12th September 2025

Got a DPD email to say it would be delivered on the 17th September 2025 but DPD tracking says waiting on Sky.
Phoned multiple times, they just say it was dispatched (but hasn't been) but cannot get any traction on help.

Is there anywhere else to contact/phone? Call centre is less the unless?

Where is my order?

I ordered a new IPhone 17. I was told it would take 1-2 weeks for delivery. 2 weeks have now passed. Where is it? It would be nice of Sky to keep me updated.

Person on the chat said 'I can confirm you will receive your device within 1-2 weeks'. I know it's probably nonsense but for reference I ordered the iPhone 17, White, 256GB on 24th September. 3 weeks ago today. Let's see how much longer!

I spoke to customer services yesterday regarding my missing iPhone 17 Pro (Orange) which i pre ordered on the 12 of September... she said this has been set as a priority shipment and will be no longer than 48 hours..... they have 24 hours left !  and it still says "in Progress" on my tracking. Think sky should have put out emails to all people with orders and just said due to stocking/demand the wait time will be maximum 5 weeks just to cover themselves

what they've done is not covered themselves in glory at all by radio silence and letting the call centre in India be inendated with phone calls who don't really have any answers

@Sheep+1903
l’m afraid you aren’t speaking to Sky Customer Services by posting on here. This is a customer ➡️ customer discussion forum where we try to help other Sky customers.

As we’re customers we have no insight into current stock levels or any delivery timescales. The most up to date information (after credit checks are complete) on your particular order should become available at:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/track-sky-order

When your order is ready you should get an email from Sky, and then another from the courier (in the UK that’s usually DPD) which should have details of your 1 hour delivery time slot.

As with every other year orders for the latest iPhone devices are likely to be further delayed due to supply and demand issues.

Re: Apple iPhone 17 range and iPhone Air available for pre-order on Sky Mobile

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to share a frustrating situation I’ve been dealing with regarding an iPhone 17 Pro Max order with Sky Ireland.

On 14 September 2025, I placed an order for two iPhone 17 Pro Max devices (Orange and Silver). I paid an amount upfront for each phone, and received an official confirmation email from Sky saying:

Great news – soon you'll be up and running with Sky Mobile. We've arranged to deliver your Sky Mobile products...”

The delivery date was 3 October when order has been made,but I never received any updates or tracking information.

After several calls to Sky over the past weeks (call centers in India, and the agents are clearly unprepared, giving confusing or inconsistent information, on top of that, it’s extremely hard to understand them due to poor line quality and strong accents, which just adds to the frustration when you’re trying to solve a problem), then yesterday when checking the Sky app to see if there are any update, I saw that there's two orders (correctly) but just one of them with the iphone (silver), the another one just desappeared and the e-sim was the just thing they're showing me (it happened around 3 days ago, but I just tought it was some error as normal they have). Then I call again to understand what's going on and I was told that one of my orders (the Orange iPhone) had been "cancelled down through the system” because it was stuck and showing no stock available."  😡

he most deplorable part of this whole situation was what happened during my last call with Sky.
The agent told me that my previous order had been cancelled, but that if I placed a new order, I would receive the phone within 10 days.

I asked her very clearly:

“If I place a new order for the **exact same phone – iPhone 17 Pro Max Orange 256GB – will I actually receive it within 10 days?”

She confidently said “Yes”, so I agreed to go ahead with the new order.
Then she put me on hold for a few minutes, came back, and said:

“Sir, unfortunately, we won’t be able to place the order because the phone is out of stock.”

It was absolutely absurd,  the level of misinformation and lack of coordination within Sky’s customer service is unbelievable.
At that point, I was honestly speechless,  because if I said what I was thinking, it would have probably come out as rude or aggressive.

So I just ended the call in silence. I know it wasn’t the agent’s fault personally, but the lack of proper training and preparation just makes the whole experience even worse.

Here’s the frustrating part (or the most one):

  • I never received any email or notice about this cancellation (they said that it was a system error the reason I've no communication promptly, and I still waiting for the cancellation);

  • Sky cancelled it automatically, without even asking if I wanted to wait;

  • The other order (the Silver one) is still active, but also on back order with no delivery date.

Finally, without giving me any options, they solved by themselves tolding me that will give a refund in 14 days of the amount paid for the 17PM Orange.

Honestly, I’m disappointed with how Sky handled this,  no communication, no clear timeline, and no accountability.
Has anyone else experienced something similar with Sky Mobile pre-orders or back orders recently?
Any advice on how to push them for an actual resolution ? Like, if u had to wait a bit more, that's fine. They just cancelled my order after confirm and that's it!

Thanks in advance
