mines been like this since last week, no updates, no tracking info or text, DPD just says "we've received your order details, but have not yet received your parcel"

 

sky can't tell me any date I could expect it, that's after lying on Friday and twice saying I would get it then

Hey their i pre ordered the new iphone 17 on the 13th and still not recieved it

For everyone who is getting fed up of the lies told by SKY and are wanting to cancel - all you have to do is be insistent supposedly - I asked about 5 times to cancel, and then wrote the following:

“With respect, that response isn’t acceptable.

My order has not been shipped, I have no tracking information, and I’ve received no stock updates at all. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, I have the right to cancel prior to dispatch — I do not need to wait until a delivery is attempted.

Please either provide a clear update on the status of my order (including dispatch information and realistic delivery date) or process cancellation now. Asking me to wait indefinitely without information is not a solution.”


I was then told I should get in touch with DPD to find out where my delivery was - without a tracking number, my response was as below:

“With respect, DPD won’t have any information until Sky actually dispatches the device to them, which clearly hasn’t happened yet. I pre-ordered within 20 minutes of launch, I was promised delivery on the 19th, and yet I’ve had no tracking, no stock update, no ETA — nothing.

This is a Sky issue, not a DPD issue. I need Sky to confirm either:

  1. The exact dispatch status of my order, with a realistic delivery date, or

  2. Immediate cancellation in line with my statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Passing me to DPD without a tracking reference isn’t a resolution.”

After stating this, and a little bit more back and forth about cancelling - the customer service agent wrote a follows:

'Yes, that is correct as you are looking to cancel your order I had a word with the back office team who helped as you insist on cancelling your order.'

So if you are really wanting to cancel, and you're insistent enough - they CAN cancel prior to the order leaving.

I'm going to wait until they come in stock with Apple, chuck it on a 3 year credit card and save myself nearly a few hundred quid, as SKY - even though 0% interest free - the phone cost is £1368 - nearly £170 more expensive, so it's not really interest free - bit of a sneaky trick to be fair.

Anyone preordered the Max 256gb blue/orange expecting delivery this week or been told to expect this week or are all the pro max's next week onwards.

I spoke to them today and they said my blue 17 pro max 256gb is allocated for dispatch on 26th for delivery on 27th/28th. Whether this is true or not as my account is still saying this

I'll be really annoyed as I've received 3 messages since Friday to say it'll be delivered by 26th September!

I ordered trough Sky Ireland on the 13th and yet haven't scent gotten as much as a delivery date. The costumer service isn't helpful either - I understand that you may haven't expected the amount of orders. Or that you didn't get a big enough stock allocation to cater for everyone. 

But I would like to get an update with a time frame to be able to make arrangements if needed.

Pre ordered new iphone 17 pro max x2

I pre ordered 2 new iphone 17 pro max in deep blue and cosmic orange on Saturday 13 September. When i did this the gentleman man said the order will be delivered on 19th September but it never did. I called up he then said it will come on 26th September. I still have not received it nor have i ever received any updates regarding my order apart from order confirmation nothing about the delivery date and times. I have requested a few times to speak to somone regarding when it will arrive but they are useless. On my sky app it just says order coming soon. Nothing else. Can someone assist me please?  This is from sky Uk

Just spoken with sky, I was originally told will come on the 19th, the it changed to the 26th, now he's saying another week. They haven't got a clue what's going on.

iPhone 17 pro max

Hey does anybody know when expected delivery is for the iPhone 17 pro max. Ordered in the pre order on the 12th for delivery on the 19th. Haven't heard a thing from sky to even tell me it's going  to be late. I've send messages and they haven't answered. I wouldn't have bothered with pre sale if I'm not even getting it for another 4 weeks or somthing like that
