Apple iPhone 17 range and iPhone Air available for pre-order on Sky Mobile

Awaiting a 17pm 256gb Orange too, ordered 2:34pm on 12th and had message saying delivery by 4th October, no other communication at all from Sky, very poor

Same. My Deep Blue Pro Max is also delayed to 4th October.

It seems to be:

- Any pre-orders for the Pro ordered on 12th or soon after which gave 19th as delivery are being delivered today

- Same for iPhone 17 (regular version)

- Vast majority of Air pre-orders being delivered today, but still a few seemingly delayed

- A limited supply of Pro Max that were pre-ordered on the 12th or soon after are being delivered today, but lots delayed

- Many Pro Max orders now delayed to 4th October

Just got a message saying now October but when I called this morning to cancel they said it was at fulfilment so couldn't!

@Emmanie - I would summise simlair issue with unexpected demand on the Air, one of the folk in the office ordered a 17 pro orange and a 17 pro max orange, 17 pro has just been delivered but the pro max is shwoing as 4th October.

I ordered my iphone pro max on 13th for delivery today .....no signs of it spoken with sky cant cancel it and delivery is now 3rd october ...wont be pre ordering again from sky

Was also supposed to have had a call back from the technical team about swapping my sim to an eSIM but they haven't bothered to call me back so even if my air did arrive I wouldn't be able to use it

Spoke to sky today and because my account hasn't updated since placing the order they said the iPhone 17 pro max silver will be delivered today but haven't received any confirmation called them back this afternoon and they now saying there on high demands and will be with me as soon as possible and they offered me the weekday and weekend delivery with DPD which they paid for as I got told all different things why can't it be just a simple answer.  So frustrating

Anyone ever experienced this before?

My SIM is activated despite not receiving the phone yet. I've had a couple of cellular iPads with Sky before and I'm sure I've always been the one who has had to activate my own SIM...

• Placed the pre-order (17Pro - 256GB) on the 12th at 1:05pm, website stated it would arrive on the 19th.
• DPD email on the 16th at 2pm saying they're expecting my parcel.
• Sky say 17th as the expected delivery (which is obviously incorrect and would breach any embargos)
• DPD tracking status has been stuck at "We've received your order details, but have not yet received your parcel" since the 16th.
• No new messages from Sky in the My Messages section, and no texts/emails.

I just find it quite odd my SIM has been activated despite not having my phone yet, and having no new updates. I'll need to give Sky a ring soon...
