Not even 10 minutes off the phone after seeing the December/January comment. They said definitely not the case and as far as they are aware stock will still be arriving next week, he couldn't confirm if this stock was enough to cover all orders though

I don't think you'll be charged until the phone is actually activated, so I wouldn't worry just yet.

Also, is anyone aware of why my delivery status changed? Mobile still says in progress but SIM card activation says "completed-coming soon' I've not received the SIM card?

I just got on with phone with the customer service, he said the 16 pro max is taking a month to delivery and I will be getting the phone within the next 2 weeks but if I'm going to opt in to a normal iPhone 16, that it can be delivered tomorrow, and this is from Apple and not directly their fault. So fingers crossed
