Apple iPhone 16 range now available for pre-order on Sky Mobile

Hi, 

I have been an advid reader and communicator on the iPhone 16 thread on the community for over a week now. 

It's been apparent that apparently sky have 'no stock' and are backlogged with orders for the iPhone 16 Pro Max in Desert Titanium 256GB. But how come there are people who ordered 4/5 days after the preorder who have now received their phones and I'm still waiting? 

I ordered at 1:30pm, contract signed at 1:40. I should've been in the first batch of phones being sent out. Instead it's nearly 3 weeks later and I'm still phoneless?

I'm considering something called 'Raylo' if anyone's ever heard of it let me know. They have an iPhone 16 Pro Max in DT that can be delivered on Tuesday however, it's a 'lease' contract which means I never own the device at the end but can upgrade whenever and walk away if so. 

I have no idea what to do🤷‍♀️

A follow up to my previous rant on here regarding my waiting - along with countless others - for the elusive iPhone 16 Pro Max. 

Order Date:- 13 September. 
Order Details:- IPhone 16 Pro Max White 512gb

Expected date at time of order:- 20 September 

2 texts received 19 Sep...new delivery date 27 September. 

Telephoned the contact centre on Thursday asking where my iPhone was and was told "...your iPhone is in the fulfilment centre awaiting dispatch and there's a 90% chance of it arriving over the weekend. 
The following day I used the 'live chat' function and was told by Rachel that I might receive it Saturday or next week; but due to the connection dropping, I contacted the call centre again and was told by Raj that to expect it no sooner than 23rd October!

Needless to say I was fuming, so after making a complete nuisance of myself with any department that would listen to me and sending several emails off - one to the Apple UK Distribution Manager - telling him how poor he was at his job, I eventually had an email from DPD stating that they were expecting my iPhone and they would be in touch. 
Fortunately, this morning at around 09:39 DPD sent me a text stating that they would be delivering my iPhone between 15:07-16:07 and miraculously, I have now received it. 
The only advice I would give to anybody who is in the same unfortunate boat is to never give up, [language removed]

Just got off the phone with an advisor in Mumbai who told me they do not need to update me on my order as my message only said "they expect" to have my phone with me by 27th and "expect" does not mean 100% confirmed. I asked to be put through to a supervisor but he said they would just tell me the same thing and the manager was in a meeting anyway. He was reluctant to put me through to anyone else but I got put through to cancellation who were a bit more helpful.

I was told they can definitely see my order so it will be sent as soon as anything arrives but it may be as late as 21st October. He thinks it will be sooner but didn't want to say for sure. I did get a bit of discount towards my next bill for my trouble too. Just need to keep everything crossed that it arrives sooner.

@Ritch24 @isn't it just ridiculous? are they still open now? - i might call i feel like the only way i can get answers if i keep ringing. 

defo wait, although the customer service is shocking they seem to be the best place for the phone at the moment 

i just have to be patient now...

I've done all of these and still waiting I'm holding onto my last bit of hope for this week... 

do you have a number for the Apple UK Distribution Manager? I would love to get hold of them. What should I say?

But...I suspect it had more to do with me raising an official complaint with Sky than this dude reading it. 
I really hope that everybody gets their iPhones and are not messed about any more.

@TanMan22  I've already been down the official complaints route with sky and to be honest was very little help. Won't be buying with them again after this fiasco

@champagneslay They are good trust me I have got MacBook from them the process is so easy and at the end you can own the device as well if they have what you want take it from them!
