@Rjbono @Maybe not but if enough people who are actively contributing on here and those just reading and hoping for updates send in written complaints it may just be enough to get a months free data or something out of them. Without thing you never know. We're all in this together.

@Rjbono Sadly we all have. I've been on this forum since page 18 reading then joining in and it just shows we're all feeling the same way. I've always looked at it there is strength in numbers. The more complaints they get the less they can ignore it.

@Suze181 @Rjbono Ive been here for a while and it's been so nice to see people banding together. I think if they have enough complaints then they'll definitely give way to something. 

We had an issue with a sim card a while ago and they took £5 off our sim bundle.

@champagneslay  They will have to with the uproar they've already caused. And they can't deny it either. We all have evidence of their lies through this chat group. We just need to band together and start complaining in a more constructive way that they can't ignore us and offer some to be honest way of apology.

My assessment of the situation is that it is solely an Apple issue, as others have said no providers have sent them out yet (especially desert pro max) and that's because Apple have delivered any yet either. 
mine is coming in the next hour direct from Apple and I ordered at 1:05, so was one of the first orders they had. 

sky are fed up of people asking and moaning st them when it's not their fault, they've been let down by Apple and are getting all the hassle.  They don't know what to tell people because they honestly don't know. So I suspect to get people off their backs they've said October, which imo if you ordered on release day, you will get it this week, they are just trying to under promise and over deliver now, rather than promising it this week and not meeting it. 

it doesn't matter how many times you message or call them, it is NOT going to change anything, you eee wasting your and their time, honestly. Just sit back and wait for the comms, it's only a phone, not life saving medication......

I've requested all my calls Be listened to and they are apparently calling me back tomorrow because to be honest everyone I've spoken to is full of **bleep**e. It's disgusting I'm having managers saying one thing then another manager saying something completely different. 

I will be requesting some sort of compensation as I'm self employed and already lost 2 days work by them telling me my phone will be here on two occasions. I'm also now out of contract on my current device.

We all need to keep updating one another as I think that's the only way we're going to get some sort of clarity. I've got it in my head now that I'll see the phone whenever it arrives. I don't think cancelling is a good idea as we will only be waiting longer and joining the back of a que.

@David+kn I totally understand that it's apples fault but sky should still not be taking more and more orders when they do NOT have the stock to fulfil the preorders they took knowing they didn't have the stock from apple. 

As paying customers each month, we're all allowed to be angry. Yeah it's not life saving medication but we're still consumers at the end of the day. We are allowed to be upset.

@David+kn  Yeah we get it's an Apple issue but if sky don't know anything stop lying to everyone. People would rather be told the truth than be lied at every time a question is asked. Great you're getting yours after the date but it's still an insult as a customer to be fed lies time after time.

I have to disagree with you it's both sky and Apples issue. Sky need to up there customer service and be honest with customers. 

They also need to stop taking orders as they clearly can't fulfill them as they don't know when they will be receiving stock. 

customers have every right to kick off as myself I'm self employed and been let down on two separate occasions which loses me money.

@Mikeyuk @David+kn  I agree with Mikeyuk. You've ordered your phone from Apple. Had you ordered from sky like the rest of us being told one thing then another you too would be 'on their backs' chasing it up. It's only right as customers we voice our frustrations and to know we're not alone gives some solace whether you agree or not.
