We're sorry you're still having these issue.
It has been raised to our device support teams to investigate. These are a back office team that work on testing and support of all new devices we add to Sky mobile making sure they are compatible for our network and SIM card configuration.
I'm awaiting an update and will share it as soon as it becomes available. Sorry I don't have anything specific to fix this issue yet, but it is being worked on.

I've had this issue now since November last year when i updated to iOS 16, that's 7 months ago!! I wonder if these are grounds to be able to cancel my contract with Sky?

I was just saying today I want to cancel my contract too. They are not fulfilling their side of the contract at all.
My friend had to call me on WhatsApp as even though all bars are high, there's no reception and then I left home and she cut off the with the phone telling me I had no internet connection, but everything should be fine.
I then for the life of me could not call her back normally or on WhatsApp after trying multiple times.
It's a disgrace!!!
Someone is sending me out a new chip when I complained the other day but I have no hope.
Also, I can't seem to update the IOS as its saying I have no internet even though I'm on wifi at home.
I have no energy for them, it's been a terrible experience.

Is there any update @Clareridds om this issue? It's been 3 weeks since you last said it has been sent to back office staff but again still nothing. I just would like a answer as to why if I use a VPN be it in England or over the past few weeks I have used in Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, Apple Music works as it should. I turn the VPN off (that costs me £15 per month) and boom back to standard no connection no music no nothing. Can you advise please on next steps now as I think you can sense there is quite a few unhappy sky mobile customers on this thread.

This is actually getting beyond a joke now. Issue still not fully resolved my end. One day music works the next it doesn't. Seriously reconsidering leaving now. On a side note I went to Barbados in February and was absolutely shocked by the roaming prices. My brothers (one on Vodafone and the other on o2) both had better roaming deals. The whole service is shocking and yet nothing done about the problem of Apple Music getting sick and tired of this now. I'm giving them a week if not sorted then I'm going back to EE.

I think it's best.
I don't know if anyone else had problems with calls and data today, it's been a problem acknowledged by them. But I got so mad when I received the usual message reminding me of money coming out of my account. They should be paying us!
I'm honestly so disappointe and annoyed. I can't scream load enough about how much I love Sky Tv and Broadband, but this is shocking.

Yes, I had no internet (cellular) after I finished work at 5 o'clock. When I got home I reset and powered down my phone and then it was working again.

Agreed! Moving to sky mobile was the worst mistake of my life! I have sky glass ans broadband and have no issues with them. But mobile is a completely different story! I was unable to use my phone all afternoon yesterday, without my phone I can't work! I'm going back to EE and I recommend you all do the same

cant comment on what issues people are having other than to say I have been using apple car play since nov 22 and to daet have had no issues with connectivity. I have an Iphone 14 with the latest OS

I don't have a car or know how ACP works so may be asking a silly question but are you using Apple Music through your phone?

I'm sorry you're yet to have an update on this. I was waiting to hear back from the tech teams, who were in turn, waiting to hear back from Apple.
Can I ask you all to update the software to 16.4.1 and let me know what happens?

Are you using Apple Music and using cellular data to stream music? My apple music works fine with songs I have saved on my phone, it's when we're trying to stream.

I've updated to the latest iOS. Purchased Apple Music again at the weekend to test again, and sure enough, it's still not working.

I have nothing stored on my phone, all music is streamed from Apple Music and as previously stated I have no issues at all using car player that said I use a wired connection

Hmmm, that's interesting. Maybe it's just a dodgy batch of phones/sim cards then? Who knows.
