Am I able to take a number off of contract

My ex has a contract in my name but is no longer paying me for it. I'm going to report the phone as lost/ stolen to block it. Am I able to just remove her number and get a new number so I can take the account back over.

Yeah I've just called them and sorted it all. She can't use sim or device now. Thank you for your help

Hi @Paula69  if you are the account holder and have had the sim more than 12 months then yes you can cancel that sim and order a new one with a new number. If less than 12 months you would have to pay early termination charges.

Thank you. Yes it's over 12 months old. Who would I go through to to change it before I report it lost/stolen or can I do it at the same time
