All numbers show as unknown from my contact list New Sky sim.

Hi, sure this question has been asked before but cannot find difinitive answer. Got a Sky sim card on my Android mobile. Kept old number. All incoming calls come up as unknown. Cannot edit them or add to contact list. Very frustrating...Your help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Are these contacts not already in your contact list ?

Yes, they are..but appear as unknown when called.from my contat list.That is the mystery. I have an Oppo phone. When called I have 3 options..history, delete or add to contact list but it appears dull and when pressed does nothing..
