Adding a new phone to an existing account

Hi

I'm looking to buy my son his first phone.  I have my contract with EE and will be looking to move to Sky when the contract ends in January.  In the meantime I want to get my son a phone on Sky.  My husband has his phone with Sky & I have a Sky iD account as we have a Sky account for our TV but I would like to buy the phone & have the control of it rather than it being attached to my husband's phone/account etc.  Is this something I can do myself?

Hi @medsec22  as long as you create a sky ID separate to your husband and make sure you are logged into that account when ordering then yes you can get it separate from his account. Bare in mind that if you do that you won't be able to share data from his piggybank.

Thanks for that @63johnw 

 

We were aiming to share data so that's given an answer to that.  My husband is regularly rolling over data.  I have excess data too as I'm NHS but obviously with EE.

All mobiles must be on the same account to share piggybank @medsec22 so if that's something you need then it would have to be on your husbands account.
