6 months half price then switch down?

On the site it says you can switch your data plan at any time. Does that include within the 12 month minimum term? 

For instance, could I buy a SIM with a high data plan at the 6 months half price, then on the fifth month give notice to change down to a cheaper, lower data plan for the remaining six of my twelve months minimum contract?

You can change the data plan within the 12 month minimum term.

If there is a lower data plan available on your account at the time then you should be able to change to it.
