25gb fair usage abroad.. is it per phone
I have noticed that we are now limited to 25gb per month whe travelling abroad. This is really not fair. September I am in Italy and Portugal, both times in rural communities without wifi available.
I want to understand is the 25gb per phone?? I am miffed as I have been saving in my piggy bank for such holidays and have never been limited before. What is the point of a piggy bank really?? Used to roll over data with no end date but now it's limited to 12 months and to add insult to injury I can't use this data on one one holiday. I'm afraid Sky Mobile is beginning to look very unattractive compared to other mobile providers out there.

The 25GB limit is per sim so if you have two then it applies to both of them.

Re: 25gb fair usage abroad.. is it per phone
The fair usage policy was implemented a few months back (May from memory).
Clearly 'fair' is subjective but similar to other networks. Plenty of data for normal usage, obviously not so good if you wanted to stream lots of video.
Remember, most other networks simply throw away an unused data at the end of the billing cycle. 12 months is better than none.
Ideally, you shouldn't be building up a large piggybank - it's there for any larger than expected months.

Re: 25gb fair usage abroad.. is it per phone
As you say, roaming using Roaming Passport Plus is now limited to 25GB per billing period.
From Skys own website...
When you roam using our Roaming Passport Plus, we consider that up to 25GB per billing period is a reasonable amount of data to use. If you exceed this amount, we'll assume that you're no longer using data in the way expected of a reasonable customer for periodic travel.
We may suspend your service, restrict your usage, or charge you for the data that you use in excess of these amounts (currently £2.50 per GB), and we'll let you know by SMS or email before we do so.

We have always used to stream shows to watch on the tv whilst we were abroad as we have no wifi where we stay. It used to be fab before Brexit as all Sky streaming didn't use data at all. Such a shame.

Apparently cross-border portability of online content services is one of those arbitrary and unnecessary EU regulations which we are better off without, although so far no-one seems to have satisfactorily explained how ; )
