2 numbers on the same phone by ADDING an e-Sim (iPhone 12 Pro)

I have an 1Phone 12 Pro Max and, according to Apple, this supports a physical Sim AND an eSim so I can have 2 numbers.  Just tried Sky chat to get this set up but operator left me completely confused and then disappeared!

So, my iPhone 12 Pro currently has a standard Sim and I want to ADD an e-sim with a new, second number (and keep my existing number).  I need the new number for WhatsApp Business so I can keep WhatsApp Business and WhatsApp Messenger seperate.

How do I go about this?

It isn't clear from your post if you already have a sim from Sky or not but if not you could order two sims, move your number from a different network via a pac to one of them then convert it to an esim:

Hi @Jules810  you would need to have two physical sims with their own numbers then convert one to an esim as per the post above from @caesarome
