£150 credit for pixel 9a mobile

I swapped my old phone which was out of contract for the pixel 9a. As the old one had no value I kept it. I can't see it stated anywhere that phone has to be returned in order to get the £150 credit but just wanted to confirm that and also how long does it take for credit to hit account?
