sky Go has stopped woprking on my PC

I have has Sky Go on my PC for sevral years and it has been working fine. I tired to open it today and it said 'checking for updates', then showed the Sky logo and promptly closed.

I closed down the computer, restarted  and downloaded and reinstalled the App but it still does not work.

Amy suggestionsd will be much appreciated.
