Watching downloads whilst in the USA

I downloaded a number of programmes to my iPad to watch whilst I am in the USA on business. When I try to play them I'm asked for my PIN but when I enter the number it is not recognised. I have tried changing my User and Device PINs several times without luck. What am I doing wrong?
