Watching Sky go on my iPad in France

I have a basic Sky package and can watch on my IPad. When on holiday in France I couldn't with WiFi. Do I need to pay for this?

@Montford  If you're a Sky UK subsciber then I'm afraid since Brexit you can't watch Sky Go outside the UK.  https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-mobile-watch

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
