When I am using the Sky Go app, if I am at home and connected to the Sky Q box I can schedule recordings. However when I am away from home, I select the option to record a program and the app says the request is sent but the recording does not occur.
I have a multiscreen subscription and the app used to work when I used to have Sky+ before Sky Q. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled but it still does not record. I think somehow the app is still sending requests to the Sky+ box, any ideas?

Find out moreTo access the settings and to check the viewing card number is correct you actually need to install the Sky+ app on a mobile or tablet and go to Settings and make sure the correct viewing card is select under "Recordings & Downloads" against both Remote Record and Remote Download. If it is wrong make the changes then see if the Sky Go app will work when not connected to your Sky Q box.

Thanks for the advice. I installed the Sky+ app and it said it found my Sky Q box so I should install the Sky Q app, which doesn't seem to be available on the Play Store.
I checked the settings in the Sky+ app and both the Remote Record and Remote Download settings were set to my Sky Q box and the viewing card number that it is using.
Sky Go is still not allowing me to set up Remote Recordings.
Any more suggestions or do I need to contact Sky?
